I have the conviction that we must enter the night and as sentries, be on guard for those who are alone and suffer the horror caused by this system which is global and perverse. A scream in the night can be enough to remind us that we are alive, and that in no way we will surrender, said Ernesto Sabato.

We must commit ourselves against the terrible crisis in the world. We must risk at making a commitment because the foundation of hope emerge in the middle of it. Some complain, but we are unable to stop and wait until the horizon clears.

This is the strength of the people involved, regardless of age, nationality or social status. Because we have to recover ourselves as race, as humanity. We have the duty to resist, to be accomplices of life still in his dirt and misery.

Without expecting anything in return, but by a demand for social justice, which forces us to be consistent with ourselves in the fullness of human relationship that is in communion with the other. That would never be the subject to achieve any purpose, since the other is and will always be an end in itself. Sabato says that “we owe ourselves an absolute gesture of confidence in life and commitment to each other. That way we succeed to build a bridge over the abyss. “It is a decision that at this time should sear our souls.

As the true honor, which is but a recognition that a good person do to itself. The bridges hold the banks allowing the river to flow freely. Also to bring people and facilitate their reunion, because that is the hallmark of decent people, to meet before they met. Unknowingly we all seek each other. And the way, as suggested by Kafka, consist in delve into the own heart because that means delving into the heart of all human beings.

In his Letters to a Young Poet, Rilke proclaimed: “It is necessary that nothing strange happens to us out of what belongs to us for a long time,” That’s the challenge of freedom that gives meaning to a life with dignity, recover our signs of identity to become ourselves. For anyone or anything live for us, rule us or alienate us. Be ourselves assuming the risks to scream soberly and firmly “I know who I am, and I confess that I have lived” • If tomorrow is nothing but a hypothesis, and no one should rule us, what are we waiting for knowing that we are on the way which it is target and interpellation at the time? “Because love is not a deposit, but a flow; it is not a pond, but a current. Love exists only in movement and is generated getting out not accumulating within oneself.

In the humanitarian organizations that emerged within the blossom of civil society, volunteering is a fundamental twigs in a plot that requires material resources to carry out their duties. In this web of pain, injustice and loneliness it’s necessary to rekindle hope with the projection of our desires. Because the proof that another world is possible is in the fact that that we are capable to conceive it. As all the achievements of human beings who, in their day, were described as utopian when it only was premature truths.

There are many people who admire the work of volunteers and would like to participate in the Challenge. It’s possible to help with a financial contribution by joining at any of the organizations of civil society that are not linked or dependent on banking foundations, businesses and ideological institutions, whether political or religious. That is another dimension of aid that one can perform according to their convictions. But the CSOs offers another dimension of justice. For these social humanitarian organizations that bet for a more fair society the involvement of citizens is the belief that this building of harmonious coexistence cannot be built without resources to maintain their own freedom and independence from the great ideals that keep fair many people today.
